Founded by Hellen Bowey, who has a background in scaling technology-led businesses across digital, infrastructure and public services, Alcove Group helps “older and vulnerable people live independently”. Founded in 2014, Alcove works with more than 50 Local Authorities, the NHS and care providers, and has expanded from care technology services into a Virtual Care Agency and its own emergency monitoring centre, CallConnect247. The business combines connected devices, AI-driven insights and proactive support with an aim to reduce pressure on health and social care and improve outcomes. To date Alcove has supported more than 60,000 people.
