Avon Material Supplies (AMS) is a Dorset-based construction and waste-management company founded in 1993 by Ian and Lyn Mariner. Starting from a home office and a small operation near Wimborne, the family-run business has grown into one of the South West’s largest suppliers of aggregates, concrete, skip hire and recycling services. Over more than 30 years, AMS has expanded through acquisitions, fleet investment and regional growth, serving tradespeople, contractors and infrastructure projects across Dorset, Hampshire and Somerset.
