Neat is a cleaning products company founded in 2020 by Josie Harfield and Ryan McSorley. Neat was created to offer a more sustainable alternative to traditional cleaning products buy supplying refillable aluminium bottles and concentrated plant-based refills that consumers mix with tap water at home. The business gained traction through direct-to-consumer sales and retail partnerships with stores including Waitrose, Sainsbury’s, Tesco and Ocado. Neat has raised over £1m across funding rounds and startup programmes, including support from the Tesco Accelerator Programme. The company has also helped save over 183 tonnes of single use plastic – equivalent to 18m plastic bottles.
