Founded by Thomas Willday, Alex Hughes and Ben Herbert, SeedPrint is a Leicester-based printing business. They are the first UK papermill in 75 years. As the fourth generation of the Willday family to run the Willday Printers business, Thomas grew up surrounded by print, with more than 80 years of family expertise behind him. Rather than simply continuing the family trade, he introduced a modern eco-focused idea: plantable seed paper that grows into wildflowers after use. SeedPrint specialises in business cards, wedding invitations, event materials, memorial cards and promotional print, all made from fully recycled paper embedded with UK native wildflower seeds. In 2024 SeedPrint opened its own paper mill in Cornwall, helping preserve a heritage trade while expanding its environmental mission.
