PerfectTed is Europe’s largest matcha brand. Being neurodivergent, and having ADHD and anxiety, co-founder Marisa Poster struggled with the jitters and crashes that coffee and traditional energy drinks gave her. Then, Marisa was introduced to matcha green tea, which she says ‘changed her life and the way she consumed caffeine’. Subsequently, Marisa launched PerfectTed alongside her husband Levi Levenfiche and his brother Teddie in 2021. Their drinks are currently stocked at over 25,000 global locations and in retailers such as Tesco, Waitrose, Holland & Barrett and Sainsbury’s. Having received offers from all 5 Dragons during their appearance on BBC’s Dragons’ Den, the three founders accepted a £50k offer from Steven Bartlett. And, in 2024, Steven Bartlett’s Flight Fund invested an additional £1m. Sales have jumped from just over £200k in 2022 to £8.2m in 2024.
