Husband-and-wife team, Charlotte and Sean Ali, discovered the benefits of natural superfoods when trying to boost Charlotte’s energy levels, improve her gut health and skin issues following her diagnosis of Coeliac Disease. Inspired by their own experience, they wanted to create products to make these ingredients and benefits, more accessible. Rheal manufactures superfood blends in the UK and, having launched in 2017, sales hit £25.5m last year. The brand has recently secured listings with retailers including Holland & Barrett and Tesco and now is looking to expand into international markets. In 2025 the company diversified its product range and launched a new line of wellness shots which combine cold pressed juices and superfoods.
