Husband-and-wife team Aneisha Soobroyen and Jack Walker founded Scrumbles in 2018 after discovering probiotics as a solution to their pet’s persistent digestive problems. The founders wanted to create gut-friendly food for cats and dogs, so they began making natural, nutritious recipes from their London home. Their journey led them to Dragons’ Den, where they turned down a £60k offer from Deborah Meaden. Since then, Scrumbles has launched in major retailers including Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Waitrose, and Pets at Home, as well as achieving a strong direct-to-consumer presence, a loyal subscriber base, and launching international exports.
