Simmer Eats

Simmer is a meal delivery subscription service founded in 2017 by brothers Simmy and Jhai Dhillon. The company delivers healthy, high protein, ready to heat meals nationwide. Simmer was born during Simmy’s university days – he began cooking meals in his dorm kitchen and delivering them around campus on his bike. His brother Jhai, a former professional footballer, and mother Kal, soon joined the business (then called Rice n Spice). Simmer has never taken on investment and the brothers worked full time jobs until they hit £1m in revenue. The brothers have now been able to retire both of their parents and pay off their mortgage. Simmer achieved £36.1m in revenue in 2025, up from £1.6m in 2023.
