The Cornish Seaweed Bath Co was founded by husband-and-wife team, Richard Doggett and Hannah May after a chance encounter on a remote beach inspired them to explore the benefits of bathing in wild seaweed. Richard, a keen surfer, met another surfer collecting seaweed for his wife’s bath and decided to try it himself. The couple began researching traditional seaweed bathing practices and launched the business in 2013. Based in Penzance, the company specialises in skincare, haircare, soaps, balms and seaweed based bath products. They combine their knowledge of the benefits of sustainable hand-harvested seaweed with a range of selected botanicals to produce their range of products.
