AKP Group, originally known as Arundel Kerr Produce, was founded in 1999 by Richard Arundel and Bruce Kerr – both third generation farmers. The business was created to market the potato production of William Kerr Farms in Suffolk, but quickly expanded as other growers joined the network. AKP Group specialises in potato growing, storage, grading, washing, logistics, and supply chain management, supplying retail, food service and food manufacturing clients across the UK and Europe. The company operates a fully integrated “field-to-fork” model, with over 150,000 tonnes of potatoes moved each year, AKP has become one of the UK’s largest potato businesses.
