Botivo drinks was founded by Sam Steavenson and Imme Ermgassen. Based in Hertfordshire, the business was created after Sam, who previously made drinks for high-profile private events including the Royal Wedding, developed an alcohol-free aperitivo for non-drinking guests at parties. When he saw demand for his drink grow, he decided to launch it commercially. Imme, with a background in branding and advertising, joined as co-founder, and today, Botivo produces a handcrafted botanical aperitivo made with rosemary, thyme, gentian, wormwood, orange zest and fermented apple cider vinegar, with no flavourings or preservatives. It is now stocked in Waitrose and served in several Michelin-starred restaurants across the UK.
