    FreshWipes is an East Sussex based personal care company founded in 2020 by Liz Barnes, a former medical sales representative. The idea for the company originated from Barnes’s desire to help people maintain hygiene during times when showering is not feasible, such as post-surgery recovery and for those with mobility challenges. This led her to develop biodegradable, antibacterial body wipes designed specifically for adults. The company’s products incorporate hospital-grade ingredients like Chlorhexidine to effectively address body odour. Today, the company’s products are available through a number retailers, including Amazon, QVC, and Superdrug.com, as well as in pharmacies and hospital shops.

  • Flake Bake

    Flake Bake is a family-run bakery founded in 2012 by Paul Williams – who learned his craft in his uncle’s UK bakery – and his son Mike Williams. The pair founded the company to create handmade Jamaican patties – authentic Caribbean snacks. Operating from Peckham, Flake Bake produces meat and vegetable-filled patties, distributing to local takeaways, caterers, festivals and retail outlets. Their breakthrough came in 2024 when they won Channel 4’s Aldi’s Next Big Thing in the bakery category and secured a nationwide deal, supplying over 2m beef and chicken patties in more than 1,000 Aldi stores. The company has now sold over 9m patties across their homemade and retail ranges.

  • Fatto A Mano

    Fatto A Mano, meaning “made by hand,” is a Neapolitan pizzeria founded in Brighton in 2015 by Rupert Davidson and Dav Sahota. Inspired by the authentic pizza culture of Naples, they wanted to bring affordable Neapolitan pizza to their customers. Since its inception, Fatto A Mano has expanded to seven locations, including Hove, King’s Cross, Covent Garden and Bethnal Green – with the latest in Tower Bridge opening in April this year. In 2024, the company secured investment from Middleton Enterprises to support further growth. Recently, they collaborated with renowned pizzaiolo Franco Pepe to introduce the ‘Margherita Sbagliata’ to their menu.

  • Excite OOH

    Excite OOH is an out-of-home (OOH) advertising agency founded in 2022 by entrepreneur Elliot Ward. With offices in Manchester and London, the agency plans and delivers ‘results-driven’ campaigns across all formats – from buses and taxis to the London Underground and large-format billboards. Today Excite OOH works with brands like Pizza Express, Major League Baseball, and Visit Maldives to execute campaigns across the UK and internationally.

    ELEAT is a functional breakfast brand founded in 2021 by university friends Hywel Rose and Hugh Hamilton-Green. ELEAT’s range includes high protein, high fibre and low sugar breakfast products. Launched via a direct-to-consumer model, the brand has grown steadily, approaching 10,000 subscribers in 2025. Its core range features protein cereal, protein granola, and protein overnight oats. With a growing footprint in the health and wellness space, ELEAT is focussed on “making nutritious mornings more accessible and enjoyable”.

  • Companion Group

    Companion Group is an independent and employee-owned videogames studio. They specialise in software engineering support for multiplayer projects, working with some of the biggest games franchises in the world. As a fully remote team, they are distributed across the UK, Europe and the Americas. Their staff have backgrounds from companies including Epic Games, Amazon, Google, Improbable, Electronic Arts, Ubisoft and other various established games businesses. The business states that it is on track to double their revenue for the third consecutive year in a row, increasing from 6 staff at inception just over 2 years ago, to more than 65 people today.
